Help Me Find It: God's Will, Strength, and Trust

It's been awhile, I'll give you that. I've had a few minor things going on. But here I am, back to blogging.

Recently I have been experiencing some stressful situations. I am tempted to (and succumb to) worry, doubt, fear...I am human.

So I have sought wisdom in the Lord:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:8-10

"Wherever you go..."

There is a new song out by Sidewalk Prophets, a favorite Christian band. Help Me Find It stirred a friend's heart so much that I had to stop one day and listen to it...

The lyrics "I will trust in you; you've never failed before" echo the truth from Joshua chapter 1. He has never failed before. He will never fail. We "lift our empty hands" to find our place in God's master plan and His will for our life.

His will? That we would "seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God." Micah 6:9.

Keeping in mind that this is His will for me, that I should not be afraid but strong and courageous, I will trust in Him, for He has never failed before.

I just love my God. He has never failed before. I will trust in Him.
